Rare Vintage Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates Sofa Authentic Original Tag. This is for a Very rare Adrian Pearsall craft associates sofa. Smoke free pet free homes. I personally love the fabric on this its not for everyone but its so hard to find these original in this condition. Everything is intact there are no major stains all buttons are in place no major rips the only issue this couch has that I can see is the straps which are photoed on the last pictures. These are easy to replace there are still companies that manufacture these or you can even use burlap they just need to be pulled out and you just put new ones in with the staple gun this is not hard the couch right now as his displays just fine it just dips down a little more. The cushions on this are fantastic it does come complete with everything original. The back left corner of the couch has a small stain but its hard to see and it blends well I had this Entire couch cleaned years ago this really has just been a showpiece but again overall condition of this is fantastic. The wood accents on the front legs looks great one has a small Nick again it does not take away from the peace also easy fix its hard to find these things in perfect condition for the age. The couch measures as follows. Sofa 98 Long 33 inches deep 28 inches tall from the back the front is about 16 inches tall. Rare walnut Sofa Lounge designed by Kipp Stewart for Drexel Furniture’s Declaration line of furniture. The sofa has just been reupholstered in new high quality fabric (Hon Appoint II Mandarin). The sofa is in excellent condition, solid and strong, ready to go into your home. It would look great in the center of a room so that the beautiful spindle back of the sofa is on display. According to a Drexel Declaration brochure from the time, this piece is called the Sofa Lounge #995-834. Also works great as a day bed or for overnight guests. Some of the photos were taken in dappled sunlight, hence the light shadows in some photos. Still retains the Drexel label underneath. Dimensions: 81 length x 30.25 deep x 31 inches tall. Rare 1952/53 Jens Risom designed sofa for Hans Knoll. This important piece is one of Risom’s first designs. Made for Hnas Knoll’s furniture company (before his wife Florence joint the design firm). Appears to be original wool beige/ivory hopsack upholstery which is hand stitched at corners. Arm design have a Hans Wegner “Papa Bear” chair vibe. This is an iconic design from a well known designer and well worth the effort to refurbish. Overall dimensions: 78 long x 31 tall x 31 depth. Structurally, wood frame in very good, sturdy condition. The metal springs in the center seat section are broken in a few places so will need repair or replacement before reupholstery. Upholstery is in good enough condition with only a couple stains and can be carefully removed and used as a pattern for reupholstery. The design has everything going for it sleek, low-profile with broad seating. Walnut armrests are supported by brass tone steel tubes that jet out from each end. Oak base has excellent steel spring support system. Dense cushions with sisal color tweed fabric (natural/off-whites to brown). Maker’s tag and label are both intact. Vintage Adrian Pearsall All Original 1810-S Sofa Excellent! Original Tag Rare

This Adrian Pearsall 1810-S Sofa is a rare find. Not too many of these were ever made and this example is fantastic. It is in all-original condition except for new strapping which is a plus! It also has an original Craft Associates tag as pictured above. The fabric is a soft wool blend in a creamy white. There are two spots on the seat cushion which I haven’t tried to remove, but I’m certain they could be. One of them can be seen in the 7th photo above. This is an exceptionally well-preserved piece of mid-century style furniture and a great size for a smaller room. There was also a high back chair (1808-C), a lower back chair (1806-C), and a love seat (I don’t know the number) which all match this same design of sloping walnut arm/hand rests. The love seat is the only one I’ve ever seen and so is extremely rare. These matching set pieces are also for sale so if you wanted to get a matching set of alike pieces, then I would make a deal for you. I would say this piece dates from the early to mid late 1950s. Current color is a green with gold flake which is hard to see on the pictures. This Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates Sofa Sectional is authentic and in original, great vintage condition. It has several original Craft Associates tags. The fabric is in wonderful, vintage condition. The seat cushions are filled with a dense foam rubber and are firm. This does not need to be recovered and there are no rips or tears in the upholstery. I would consider getting new strapping so that there is more support when sitting on it. I would also consider getting new foam for the two arms as it has flattened there over time. In photo #9 you can see that one leg needs some repair, but this is minor and when the sectional is all put together it doesn’t affect its stability or evenness in height. But overall, this sectional is in great condition. This sectional is in four parts, each about the same size. These sectionals with four parts are much rarer than the ones with only three parts. This is a very large piece. The dimensions are as follows. Complete Sectional Individual Section. Width (Depth): 116-1/2″ 37″. Seat Height: 16″ 16″. NOTE: The 150 Length means that it is 12.5 feet from the extreme edge of one end to the other (measured from the front). The depth is measured from the very back of the half-circle to the front edges. This sofa is being stored in Denver, PA.
