THE SHADE IS MADE OUT ECRU PLASTIC LIKE THE ROTAFLEX LAMPS FROM THE SAME PERIOD. DIAMETER SHADE 45 CM. DIAMETER BASE 58 CM. HAS A VERY TINY HAIRLINE IN THE SHADE (SEE LAST PICTURE). This is for a rotaflex raindrop hanging light fixture complete and looks to be never used. The light fixture is white and over all is very clean. The lighting inside is still wrapped with the original paper. The light fixture and cone on top have no cracks and display well. The light fixture itself has one small imperfection like a little dent, see photos nothing major very small. The two-tone shade lit up looks very cool and the perforated holes on top give it a great look. The light fixture measures 11 inches tall 7 inches wide dependent on top measures 3 1/2 inches wide 4 inches tall. Have a great day. Rare 50s Original Vintage Mid century John and Sylvia Reid for Rotaflex lampshade. Rare original 1950s 60s British Rotaflex INTERPLAY tubular metal lampshade with plastic’jewel’ inserts, attributed to the British Desiners couple, John and Sylvia Reid. These shades were produced in white (one also listed separately) and in black matt coating. Rotaflex – Made in England’ embossed on the bulb holder ring. The shade is good vintage condition for age with some rust present, , as per photos. All’jewels’ insets present. Very iconic lampshade that will be a great addition to any Mid Century inspired home. Dimensions: H 23cm, D 12cm. Unless otherwise stated, our items are ready to be enjoyed.
