Produced circa 1950, this ceramic table lamp feature an animal motif – giraffe. In excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear to the wood and a couple of tiny scratches to the ceramic surface, and the wiring looks good. There is also a bit of yellowing on white ceramic closer to the wood neck of the lamp but it’s hardly noticeable. This lamp is awesome, tall and graceful with a modernist charm. Measures approximately 23″ tall to the top of the socket and 6″ in diameter across the base. Feedback will be left once received.
TV lamp or as a planter on a credenza. This planter was designed for style-conscious, mid century. As a planter make a wonderful contrast with the black jaguar!
In 1933 at the Century of Progress Exhibition Versen’s modern lighting also won an award. ICONIC KURT VERSEN ILLUMINATION. This goose neck design places plentiful light where desired. A switch on the base turns.
This sale is for a matching pair of mid century. Multi colored glass with gold colored trim ceiling lights. The glass panels measure 8 long. Light measures approx 13.5 long in total length. Glass is all good. The metal has some discoloring, could use a bit more cleaning. Probably wouldn’t be to hard to respray if someone wished. Lights are untested, appear to have original wiring. Cool lights with very 1960’s look to them.
