This particular example is marked with the early 60’s round black label and also has letters stamped on the underside to identify its fist owner. Rosewood veneer is absolutely stunning. Rare pair of lounge chairs designed by Lawrence Peabody for Richardson Nemschoff, 1960’s. Solid oak “horseshoe” frames with wicker seat, loose cushions newly re done in a deep navy velvet. Labels intact to underside. Wicker has been lightly restored and re-colored. There are a few typical minor breaks, mostly unseen and nothing impacting stability. Fabric and foam are new. Frames show minimal wear consistent with age and use. Evidence of previous repair/glue to one joint on underside, bot chairs are structurally solid and sturdy.
