Mid Century Modern authentic Laurel UL Mushroom Lamp Base Only. In the rare and iconic Yellow. See tag, missing a small portion. Piece stands at appx 11 5/8 to maybe 11 7/16 to top of socket. Hard to get exact due to shape. To the top rim of where globe sits is 10 1/8 inch. This is the taller of its shorter counterpart. Bottom diameter of 5 3/8. This one has scuffs, scratches in the enamels. It also has some small dings in the steel at the top of the light rim and some light scratches at base. Open base, no worn felt on bottom. Please see all photos as part of this description. Sells as found, as is, as you see. It has flaws but is a authentic Laurel piece not a after attributed piece. Thank you for stopping and looking. In good condition, some scratches on the top of the lamp (see picture 6&7 – both of the same scratches) and some marks on the side of the dome (pictures 8, 10, 11). Besides these few marks, glass is really in great shape. And a careful clean with a non-scratch cloth/sponge could also reduce how visible the marks are. Here’s an incredible piece of classic mid-century Danish modern design. It’s a Floor Lamp made by the Laurel Lamp Company in the 1960’s and is called the TULIP. Has their paper label inside the fixture. Heavy weighted square satin chrome metal base measures 10″X10″. It stands 68.5 to top of the shade. The pole looks like real teak wood? Satin chrome lamp fixture has rim cut in swooping style that holds that milky white heavy glass flower-shaped shade upright. All original and overall condition is excellent. The base has some tarnish and minor plating loss. Pole, fixture and shade are perfect. Great visual appeal and the ultimate floor lamp for the MCM look. Local pick-up available and I’ll consider a meet-up for New England buyers. Laurel Lamp Co Reggiani Design Italy Mid Century Modern Chrome Globe. This is an eye catching Mid Century Modern, Goffredo Reggiani design table lamp for Laurel Lamp Co circa 1960s. Great Mod era chrome metal base / holder with large white glass globe. Lamp has a 3 way switch, works fine, wiring appears sound. Marked on the inside of the metal fixture with blue UL paper label marked Laurel Lamp Mfg Co. We could not find anything on the internet similar to this great lamp, possibly a prototype? Goffredo Reggiani did several designs similar to this for his own lighting company in Italy, Reggiani Lighting founded 1957. Item measures 18 ½ tall x 10 ½ wide overall, with the white glass globe measuring 9 ½ across and the chrome stand 10 ½ wide x 12 tall. Cord is about 12 feet long. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Turned wood lamp by the Laurel Company. I’ve never seen one like this but the shade is marked Laurel and I recognize the white rectangular harp and cylindrical finial. The finial is copper toned to match the textured metal band around the top of the lamp, the square copper toned base and the splattered shade. I don’t know if the metal on the lamp is real copper. I rotated the lamp while photographing so you could see all sides of it. These are two vertical seams in the wood – one on each side of the lamp. There are some dents and imperfections you may find by looking closely at photos. It works when tested. This is a tall lamp, measuring 50 to the top of the final. Height to the top of the socket is approximately 34 1/2. Height to the top of the wood body is 25 5/8. The width of the square base is 5 7/8. Just for reference, the shade measures 21″ tall x 17″ wide at bottom. PLEASE INQUIRE IF INTERESTED. It is punctured and has some scratches at separation on the side at the top frame band so mailing it may not seem worthwhile. Weight without shade: 10 lb 15 oz. He did a few designs for Fontana Arte for the Hotel. Ponti lamps are so rare they end up fetching sizable sums when one does hit the marketplace. Here is a one of Ponti’s rarest! Gio Ponti’s “Haughty Trumpet” lamp which was designed for the Laurel Lamp company from his studio in Milan. This lamp is aptly named! It looks like a trumpet standing on end!
