Rare Stiffel Vtg Mid Century Modern Tension Pole Lamp Retro High Heel Fn Atomic. This is for a rare Stiffel Tension lamp complete and functional. This is one of their best designs in my opinion very cool details switch is functional plug works and all lights turn on it is a three way switch. The lamp does have where which is normal for how old this is. The brass center is tarnished could be cleaned but still displays very well. The cones overall look really great with the gold details the only thing that is missing is the diffusers witched with time you could find replacements I just face the lights upward and it still looks really great. The bottom has a That goes on the floor so as you can see from the 11th photo it might look a little weird but once you display this lamp that part is hidden. This lamp is pretty tall it measures, about 110 I have lived in a number of apartments especially older ones in Chicago where the ceilings are tall and this thing always worked. This is a rare, chrome and velvet, vintage, chair and ottoman created by high end furniture maker RS Associates of Montreal. This was designed around the expo 67 period and it is still in fantastic, all original, condition. The style is similar to Milo Baughman and Scandinavian makers. As you can see the chair reclines and it also rocks. The frame is extremely heavy chrome plated steel. The sort of champagne color velvet has some wear but looks great and is clean and odor free. The strapping is good as new. It is outrageously comfortable. The chair is 29 wide x 19 h arm x 32 high back x 32 deep and ottoman is 25 x 25 x 16 h with cushion. Listed for sale is a very special piece. It is an early Prototype for an Eames CTW / CTM – like coffee table, which uses the manufactured CTW / CTM top, along with a welded base similar to the Eiffel tower chairs. The definitive notes are as follows. This table comes from the household of a former Herman Miller employee. The table top was made using the same mold as a CTW or CTM and shares identical dimensions (do note the comparison photo). The table top uses correct veneers and wear is period correct. Exact year of production is not known. This exact table was featured in an article on Herman Miller’s website called The Other Herman Miller.
