What we have here is an authentic early 1960s Howard Miller trifold sales brochure advertising the iconic George Nelson Bubble Lamps. This is pre Herman Miller and pre Modernica. Very hard to find original. Dimensions unfolded : W 8.5″ x H 11″. This is an original Howard Miller/George Nelson brochure from the 1960s. Vintage piece in “as pictured” condition. Please read (condition report): Vintage Howard Miller trifold sales brochure from around 1966, showing light wear consistent with its age. When opened, the pages are beginning to separate due to age. Beautiful walnut wood selection in a finish that Nakashima called “Sundra”, meaning “thing of beauty” in Sanskrit. In excellent condition overall. Measures 51″ wide x 43″ high x 4 deep. Geroge Nakashima was an MIT-trained architect who described himself as a “Japanese Shaker” – an expression of his interest in creating unadorned, functional objects. He also believed in pursuing a revival of lost crafts and practices, like traditional Japanese joinery and the use of natural materials. Please reach out for additional photos of the piece.
