A VERY RARE MID CENTURY MODERN METAL FLOOR LAMP WITH ETCHED FLORAL DESIGNS. DESIGNED WITH 3 TIERS OF LARGE, HEAVY ETCHED METAL TEARDROP BALLS. WITH 3 “LIGHT BULB SIZE” METAL TEARDROPS PER TIER. EACH ETCHED TEARDROP IS 5 1/2″ LONG X 2 1/4″ WIDE. POSSIBLY BY DANISH DESIGNER ERIK HOGLUND (OR IMPORTANT PREDECESSOR). PLEASE SEE HIS GLASS TEARDROP FLOOR LAMPS WITH THE EXACT DESIGN AND SAME GLASS SHADE AND BLACK ENAMEL COATED ROUND BASE. THIS ONE IS OBVIOUSLY FROM THE 1950’S-1960’S AND IS MADE OF REAL ETCHED METAL INSTEAD OF GLASS, MAKING IT EXTREMELY RARE! 49 HIGH WITH LAMP SHADE. 44 HIGH TO BULB SOCKET. WEIGHTS ABOUT 12 LBS AS SHOWN. 1950’S- 1960’S ESTIMATE. This stunning floor lamp is a perfect addition to any mid-century modern collection. Erik Hoglund Large Amber Glasmadamer People Decanter with 6 Matching Glasses for Kosta Boda Signed H288 Sweden. This listing is for an original Scandinavian art glass bottle / decanter and 6 hard to find matching glasses by Erik Hogland for the Boda Glassworks of Sweden, circa 1950s – 1960’s. This is Hoglunds female decanter, the “Glasmadamer, ” with a lady face stopper and female form with applied arms. The glass is mold blown and has lots of great seed bubbles. This decanter measures 11 and 1/4 inches tall to the top of the stopper. The base has a ground pontil, and is signed / numbered by Hoglund – H288, as shown. The H stands for Hoglund with the’288′ denoting the model number. This is the largest size of Hoglund’s People bottles. Each glass measures 3 and 1/4 inches tall and has an applied face medallion that matches the decanter. Condition : No cracks, chips or flakes. No water marks or staining. Rare pair of “Z Down” chairs designed by Erik Magnussen for Torben Orskov, Denmark 1960’s. Folding tubular chromed steel frame with original canvas sling back and seat. Frames show age appropriate wear and oxidation, no rusting. Canvas is in good shape, upper edge of back on one chair has previous wear/stitching shown in photos, otherwise expected wear from use.
