The lamp is 11″ in height and about 10″ across and is open on both ends. Inside the smoke gray lucite is a stylized tree sculpture in clear lucite. When it is inside the box, underneath a light wheel turns and changes the colors of the tree. Such a tremendously fabulous piece! There are a few minor scuffs from age and wear to the lucite case, but nothing major. The underside has two screws that hold the lucite to the base. Since it is such a dark smoke color, I didn’t notice until now that there is a crack on the bottom of the lucite from the screw to the outside edge. The very base is wooden I believe and black, so the crack doesn’t show at all, but I wanted to mention it and this rare piece is priced accordingly. The tree has one branch that appears to have a nick in the very end as well. Those two branches at the back were short, but the ends are smooth except for the tip on the one branch. I will try to add a photograph. The color of the tree are a yellow to a red. The tree sculpture was made, according to the original label underneath, by The Lights Fantastic. It measures about 7 1/4″ in height (to the point it fits into the base of the lamp) and 9″ across. Amazing and so very awesome!
