Vintage MCM Laurel Mushroom Table Lamp RARE Base. Authenticated by the Laurel Lamp Foundation. They stated “This is a gorgeous and uncommon Laurel piece, produced in the mid 1970’s”. The LLF also let me know that This mushroom base is very uncommon. I can confirm, as I have searched for the last 6 months and have yet to find another! The lamp is in excellent, pre-owned condition. The base is brass / brass colored metal. It shows minor wear and tear from light scratches. It has the Laurel Lamp Mfg Co Inc sticker inside. The globe is hand blown glass, in excellent condition, made in Sweden. It has two stickers on it. One says “Made in Sweden”. The other sticker is faded, worn off, illegible. The original power cord is a matching brass / gold color and nearly 8′ long. It’s in excellent condtion, as well.
