Color is Rimini blu circa 1950-196; the glaze is rich blue with dark blue-black edge, hundreds of hand imprinted design details which makes this piece stand out. Measures approximately 6 wide by 6 high (7.25 high with lid in place). In excellent condition; feels rough around the opening which is typical of this heavily glazed and incised line of ceramics – There is a glaze flaw or miss on the rim which has partial coloration – which is typical for this ceramic – please see our photos as they are part of our description. Interior is very clean with no signs of use nor stains. The bottom of the jar is well marked and has part of the original label intact. We are long time collectors of pottery / ceramics – this is a great example of Mid Century Modern ceramics and would look great in any interior. We are a non smoking, pet free household.
