Very HTF mid century modern walnut and chrome golf club desk lamp. 23 1/2 tall to the top of the walnut finial. The adjustable chrome cone is 9 3/4″ long x 5 1/4″ wide opening. There are a couple spots of light wear/ scuffs as pictured. The golf ball on/off switch is mounted on the walnut base which measures 9 1/2″ x 8 1/4″. The original cord is just over 5′ long and is a little stiff. The plug is missing the cardboard cover as pictured. Ready to use, but may need a light cleaning due to storage. For your consideration I bring you a gorgeous RARE Mid-Century Modern Floating Walnut Butcher Block Lamp Table designed by CENTURY FURNITURE USA. Although I can’t find any makers labels, the estate that these come from had almost exclusive Century Furniture items. This fine lamp table is made of Walnut solid and veneers with original hardware. Very good condition with normal to light wear, the table has a small nick on the top corner that is pictured and a couple of nicks in the veneer on the top of the back. The table has one fake drawer and one pull. It measures 18″ by 28″ by 21″ depth on the top and 20″ tall with normal to light wear. Pick-up preferred or you can set up your own shipper. Rare Hard to find Solid Walnut Nesting Table Set (3 tables) made by Poul Jeppesen Imported from Denmark. Smallest table is labeled underneath with a sticker that says’P. Jeppesen Mobelfabrik Store Heddinge. Also has a branded PJ in a circle, Made in Denmark branding, and a black label with Danish Furniture Makers Control circle. Poul Jeppesen was a furniture maker of quality pieces in Denmark between the 1940’s and 1960’s. He produced the designs of Grete Jalk and Ole Wanscher, in addition to many lesser known designers. These tables are a Grete Jalk design that were made in several different options. Teak with formica tops. There tables are solid walnut, of beautiful craftmanship. Dating from the 1960’s, they are in wonderful condition with some marks from use over the past 55 years, patina as called in the furniture industry. The tables have tracks in the sides for the smaller ones to slide in place. The smallest table is slightly lighter in color, but is solid walnut and an original delivered that way! We have the original receipt and furniture catalog for these when they were ordered from Denmark. Copies will be included with the tables. Lg 22.25″ L x 14.5″ W x 19.5 H. Its in very good vintage condition overallplease note that one of the walnut handles seems to have been glued on? A bit wonkily and theres a small hairline crack on the very bottom of the bowl that doesnt go through to the other side. Theres also a faint bit of crazing at the bottom of the bowl and a tiny edge rub. None of these is especially noticeable. Please take a close look at the photos. That said, this is a somewhat rare bowl and absolutely beautiful with its low, angular lines. It measures about 18.75 long x 4.25 wide x 2 tall. I love it wish I had the whole collection! These are probably the most rare in our bookend collection. 2 Marshall Studios cube bookends. Each cube has 4 wood exterior sides and 2 sides covered with tile. Cubes are filled with sand. If you shake them you can feel it. Condition is FAIR, these need to be refinished. There is one cracked tile and a few cracks in the grout. See photos for details. Fantastic pair of mid century modern table lamps by Modeline of California. Made of either teak or walnut not 100% sure. Shades are made of frosted glass. Each cylinder glass has a tiny chip on bottom. (See photos) Not noticeable at all when placed that side down on wood. The other side of the glass cylinder is in great condition. Considering its age it’s Overall in great condition otherwise. It appears that one of the lamps has been rewired and the other has not (see photos) although the wiring works on both for safety purposes I’d recommend rewriting that one as well. Very easy to rewire a lamp. If I can do it trust me it’s easy. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING. Diameter 4.25 inches. 23 inches in height. A vintage, mid century modern single door by American artist Edgar Britton, with eight small windows of varying, quadrilateral shapes. The wide door surround is carved with a sun, two birds, leaves, fish, the moon and a star, Zonta Chapel, a horse and turtle. The surround retains the original black and grey baseboard. The handle is carved is a Z-shape. Born in Nebraska, Edgar Britton was a painter, muralist and sculptor. He worked in Iowa with Grant Wood from 1920-24 and then moved to Chicago in 1925, where he worked on various architectural commissions. Due to health reasons he moved to Colorado in 1942 where he remained until his death. Britton taught at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center and focused mainly on creating sculpture during this period. Edgar Britton (American, 1901-82). Carved monogram (lower right): EB.
