It is made of 8 rows of 5 acrylic/plastic leaves, that sit/attach to the round plastic piece in the middle. Each leaves are identified from one to five, with little holes on the side… One hole for the #1 and five holes for the #5. Stunning pair of vintage 1950s/1960s Italian / Scandinavian mid-century modern glass pendant lamps. From the now closed Design Center in midtown NYC. Handsome slate blue-cased glass outer shade and white inner glass shade. One lamp has one very small chip that barely flecks the blue glass and a couple of tiny flea bites. The other does have a couple tiny chips and a couple fleabites to the blue shade and a couple tiny fleabites to the white interior. One pic shows three lamps. We are using one in a different location from our original intention. 11″ h x 9″ w. I LIVE 20 MINUTES OUTSIDE OF MANHATTAN, JUST PAST QUEENS. RARE Original PH 4/3 pendant lamp in Brushed Aluminium – designed by Poul Henningsen in 1966 and produced by Louis Poulsen. Condition: – In full working condition with very few signs of age and use. Material: – Made of Aluminium, With a screw-fitting (E27) porcelain Socket. And 150 cm new black fabric cable. Producer: – Louis Poulsen. Colour: – Brushed Aluminium on the top and white inside the lamp. Dimension: – Height 20 cm in. 7,9 ; Diameter 40 cm in. He Original Louis Poulsen stickers are still present on the Lamp. Please look at the pictures for more details. Though out his life it became a mission for Poul Henningsen to create and perfect “the glare-free light” – excluding sharp direct light emittance from the bulb, and directing the light to where it’s needed, and at the same time casting off soft shadows.
