Vintage Mid Century Modern Abstract Sculptural Ceramic Lamp Double Armed Rare. Stunningly shaped Mid-century European ceramic double armed lamp, with faux cardboard and wax candles, with the lighting electrics underneath. The ceramic base has a twist sculpted design in a black and yellow glazed finish. It is signed on the underside but after hours of research I’ve not been able to decipher the name. The lamp with the faux candle uplighters measure approximately 31cm in height, 28cm in width and 11cm in depth. The flex from lamp to plug measures approximately 380cm and has an on/off switch. Condition is used as per photographs, amazingly no dinks or chips to the lamp base. Obviously the wiring is extremely precarious especially under the faux cardboard candles, and it does have a European plug. It does require a rewire, or could be stripped to be a candle holder? Amazing rare mid-century ceramic decorative find, a stunningly designed piece with the two arms in a glazed ceramic.

This is an ultra-rare GE77 daybed by Hans Wegner for Getama. The daybed has trundle which allows the piece to turn into a double bed when the back bolster is inserted into the trundle space. Teak and painted wood frame; the back of the piece is grey. Professionally reupholstered in Kvadrat Hallingdal’0200′ fabric in 2019; upholsterer reused original springs. The piece also comes with the original green cotton blanket that extended to cover the seat when used as a daybed. The piece is in solid, functional shape with a few quirks. The back bolster and seat cushion are a tight fit when the daybed is fully extended. There is a 2 divot approx. 1.5″ deep in the bottom base of the daybed and a 1/4″ hole on the right side of the wooden frame. The left metal leg is crooked and one back leg is missing veneer. And while the daybed has been slipcovered since 2019, there are some irregularities and repaired snags in the fabric. NOTE: piece is unmarked but Getama pieces weren’t always signed before the 1970s. 78 1/2″ wide x 26 1/4″ high x 40 deep” x 54″ deep when extended. Double and queen sheets fit. Rare Mid Century Double Headed Horse Lamp
Very rare Mid Century Double Headed Horse Lamp. Lampshade may not be the original, but it is a matching green fiberglass. Lamp stands 26″ tall with a diameter on the shade of 14″ with a height of 12. Shade has a few dark spots, and one spot on the inside looks like it is from a price tag. It may come off, but I did not want to try to remove it. Lamp has a small chip on the corner bottom of the back. Lamp has been rewired, and does work. Not sure of the maker, someone said Gonder, but not sure.
