A very rare pair of vintage slipper/lounge/barrel back button tufted chairs. These chairs are a very special and unique part of 50’s furniture history and were made in the same Widdicomb factory that built pieces by iconic designers like T. Robsjohn Gibbings, George Nakashima and Paul McCobb. They retain their original Robinson labels “an exclusive creation crafted in Robinson’s own Grand Rapids plant”. USA, circa 1960’s. Fully upholstered with swivel base. Good vintage, upholstery age/use related fading w/some staining. 29in deep x 29in wide x 26in tall, seat height 17in.
