1-PAIR (2of) RARE LARGE ROYAL HAEGER FLAMBE DRIP-GLAZED MALLOW MCM TABLE LAMPS
For your consideration is a PAIR VERY RARE LARGE ROYAL HAEGER FLAMBE GLAZED TABLE LAMPS. With their large deep green-blue bases and broad, hand-made rice paper shades impressed with leaves, these lamps add a rich, organic feel to the room. The awesome’seed pod’ finials are original and, much like these lamps, virtually impossible to find, especially in a pair. The beauties are substantial, each measuring approximately 32.5″(82.5cm) tall to the top of the finial and 10″(25.47cm) in diameter at the waste, with the shades being 10″(25.47cm) tall with a 20″(50.8cm) lower diameter. Condition is very good – excellent (conservative), with one lamp having two inconspicuous’nicks’ approximately 8-10 apart that are difficult to convey in photos, but i have circled in red and attempted to show in various ways and IMO, these are smooth, not at all overt. The other lamp is in excellent condition with no chips or repairs that i can find. One finial has a very small spot (smaller than a match head) missing glaze (circled in red) that, under magnification appears to have been a bubble/firing flaw that has flaked/chipped off. The shades are in very good condition with some leaf loss as per photos. The lamps take bulbs that fit standard light sockets. Cords are original, but one plug had long since been replaced. Some fine crazing to the glazes can be found when viewed with magnification, but otherwise, these wonderful rare lamps present beautifully!
