If you’ve been hunting for a once-in-a-lifetime statement lamp, this is it. This is a huge illuminated globe made from hand-cut capiz shells set in a leaded/metal mosaic over a round pedestal base. When lit, the nacre swirls glow with a soft, pearly shimmer you simply can’t capture in photos. It is beautiful, unique, and extremely rare-I have never seen another example in person or online. If you turn the lamp like I did in the first couple photos, you won’t see any of this. But I do suggest getting it fixed. Capriz shell is partially broken in a couple areas like I mentioned.
