I priced this piece very reasonably. Presenting a magnificent, mid-century abstract modern silver “Flying Fire” sculpture rarely seen on the internet. It was a statement piece that stood in front of a large floor to ceiling window. Circa late 1960’s. Highly reminiscent of Rene Brancusi’s modern abstract sculptures. This piece is large in stature and is 28 high and commands attention. It is bold, imposing and intriguing. You can’t take your eyes off of it. It has a magical quality. The flying fire or abstract flames ebb and flow in the air. Entrenched in duality; strong yet graceful. Light wear appropriate to the age of the piece. Any sign of wear blends seamlessly into the ornate pattern of the sculpture. There is one 1.5 black mark on the back. It is not noticeable because the front is on display.
