Rare Early Danish Mid Century Modern Bowl Signed Bjord Wiinblad Dated 1945. In 1945, Wiinblad graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and that same year he debuted with a comprehensive exhibition in the small Binger gallery in Palægade in Copenhagen. Wiinblad held his first ever exhibition at the Copenhagen Binger gallery. Based on the exhibition’s popularity, Wiinblad began collaborating with Haandarbejdets Fremme. For sale is a fantastic pair of Mid Century Modern Shades for a Swag Light. These have a Blue-Green look to them in person. It looks more blue in the photos but you can also see the green in person – almost peacock looking colors. These are fantastic shades. I believe these would hang, but it would need someone to add the light sockets. These are a VERY RARE FIND, especially to find a matching pair. The inserts are sort of a plastic/vinyl. One or two of the plastic inserts might have small cracks, but are not noticeable from front. This is a MUST HAVE for a MCM lover.
