Super cool looking table lamp. I think it’s 1960, made in Japan, then what do i know? I do know that i could not find another like that. It’s made of hard plastic or bakelite type of material in Japanese MCM style. Lady is made of porcelain and very nicely detailed. The layers of paint which is obviously handpainted by artist whos signature is on the bottom of figuriene, is missing in some spots, including face and top of the head, still lovely and all authentic without any touch ups. The shade is held by nice original top piece. Electrical cord is super long: at least 12 feet long! Turn knob work good. Base has a squere holder for something? Could be a place for incense or ink/pen holder? 26″ x 11″x 11 with shade.
