They are the real deal made of fiberglass and then factory padded and naugahyde covered in cobalt blue. They come with their original screws too, but no bases. 17 inches high, 18.5 inches wide and 15 inches depth from the front of chair to where your butt meets the padded lower back. A very rare and early (60s or even 50s) example of this model 2221, a chair of this vintage rarely appears on the market, one mainly sees imitations. This chair also has an Oak, as opposed to the more common and cheaper Beech, frame, which has a beautiful patina. The original cognac saddle leather also has a rich and lovely patina that only decades of use can produce. Only “blemish” is a small indentation in the seat (see pic #9), doesn’t go through the leather, merely cosmetic. Don’t settle for a cheap imitation -or even an Arne Norell’Sirocco’, cool but too common, go on a “really” rare safari: Børge M. Icelandic Sheepskin NOT included -but I would recommend one. Quartite Creative Corp MCMlVIII (1958) Super super RARE!! . These lamps our a gorgeous addition to your mid century modern decor. They are tall & fairly heavy, weighing 10 1/2 pounds each. They are solid walnut On the collar and base. The on off switch is actually a very unusual dimmer by switch! It’s so nice to be able to adjust the lighting to the level that you wish. I have cleaned these lamps with the Ultimate care.. There are also veneer walnut strips on the sides And I have spent time re-gluing those that needed some work. I have never seen this particular model of these lamps. Please note that there are a few chips on the back side they are not noticeable from the front. RARE 1960s, MCM Spaghetti Lucite & Teak Wood Accent Lamp. 26″ tall, 24″ wide, and a base of 8 diameter. Three beautiful, large spaghetti lucite globes(red, green & orange) each measuring approx. 9″ in diameter, and 6″ high, highlight this stunning piece of handmade art! Three setting switch allows for a nice bright light or adjust it for that intimate/accent evening light! Age appropriate wear, with some normal surface scuffs on the wood, the long metal rods holding the globes have some tarnishing, and the spaghetti lucite globes have a tiny amount of the “outer design” pattern absent. This lamp is Rare to find…. And in this VERY GOOD CONDITION…. ! Truly a stunning piece of functional art from times past. Have a great day. This is indeed a superb piece by glass maker master Archimede Seguso. Spanning a wide range of forms and colors, his subject matter included animals and abstract shapes. Born in 1909 in Murano, Italy, he was part of an illustrious legacy of Italian glassmakers, their ancestry spanning over six centuries to the 14th century. Seguso notably led a revival of ancient Venetian glass-making techniques, specifically filigrana, which produced lattice-like patterns. Seguso ran the family business Seguso Vetri d’Arte, from 1937 to 1942. The artist died in 1999 in his hometown of Murano, Italy. The Seguso company continues to produce glass, with works included in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
