An Eames collector’s holy grail, the rosewood pre-production LCW. Designed by Charles Eames in 1945-46 and manufactured briefly by the early Evans Products Co. Seat back and underside are shown with the original dual circular shock mounts and aluminum spacers. Stunning rosewood veneer follows the moulded plywood elements highlighting every plane and curve, and is even more beautiful in person. The veneer on this chair has a lot of character, noticeably in the series of small knots on the back end of the seat. Chair has some plywood edge wear, which adds to the patina and personality.
