RARE GREEN- SPOTTED GOLD ATOMIC FIBERGLASS ORIGINAL CERAMIC ASHTRAY FLOOR LAMP. Cool looking Mid Century Modern Atomic Age fiberglass ashtray lamp with original brown and green ashtray. The Lamp stands a height of 25 Tall to the top of the handle and comes with it’s original green and brown ceramic ashtray / candy dish. The circular fiberglass shade is in green with spots of gold throughout. The on/off switch is located on the bottom of the lamp. The lamp is in great vintage condition, but you will notice some rust and patina in areas that can be polished. Overall in good vintage condition. A really rare sculpture of a monkey in ceramic designed by Gunnar Nylund at Rörstrand with a lovely glaze. It is 21 x 14 cm (8,4″ x 5,6) and 16 cm (6,4″) high. It is in mint condition and comes with the original wooden base. Gunnar Nylund was born in Paris 1904 with parents who worked as sculptors and designer so he really soon started hos own career as designer for the Danish brand Bing & Grondahl where he worked until 1928. After that he together with Nathalie Krebs established the ceramics workshop Saxbo in Denmark. In 1931, Gunnar Nylund was then asked to start working for Rörstrand in Lidköping, Sweden. He worked there until 1955, most of the time as artistic director. After Gunnar Nylund Carl-Harry Stålhane became the artistic director for Rörstrand. Gunnar Nylund freelanced for Rörstrand for many years after 1955.
