This is for a mid century Architechtural Gainey Pottery Planter with heavy duty hanging chain. This is in a matte Terra Cotta color. Unmarked as all are. Total top diameter of appx 11 inches and appx 5 3/4 tall. Inside is maybe 5 1/4 deep. Not easiest measurement to get but very close. With chain and planter appr 31 1/2 high or tall. Pottery nice and thick. Older piece thats had usage but shows nicely. Has marks, staining, lime build up? On inside that have not tried to remove. Piece cleaned with soap and water only. 3 Glazing skip areas? Or air bubble breaks? Not sure what to call. Also one on outside by hang hole. No major breaks or anything to impeed structure of pottery. Please see ALL photos to see discrepancies in finish and on piece. Took most photos outside in brighter natual light. This is for a Mid Century Architechtural Vintage Gainey CA Pottery Tall Cylinder Floor Planter. In rare color of Terra Cotta. C 14 -18 T line bottom. Piece is either unmarked or so worn cannot make out any longer. Piece is 60 to early 70s. There are 2 very small sliver chips. One on inside top rim and 1 on bottom foot edge. There is 1 small predrilled hole in bottom. There are scuffs, marks ect and water calcium/ lime marks throughout. Inside as well with fading and discoloration from usage. Bottom sit foot also has marks. We are not going to take the time to remove any. There are several ways to remove lime build up. Up to new owner to do as choose. Item sells as is, as you see. Fantastic Gainey white glazed MCM footed planter marked on bottom Gainey Ceramics Laverne U. 21.25″ high with a 16″ outer diameter at the top. The foot itself is about 7.25″ and the wider section 14″ high. Edge on planter about 9/16. Planter in fabulous condition with only very minor signs of wear. A bit of glaze missing around drilled hole at bottom and just a few very very tiny nicks. No cracks or chips. A few small discoloration spots at very bottom of base which probably could be cleaned up. Virtually a museum piece at this point. Terrific look and proportions. Thanks for looking, stay safe.
