Vintage Mid Century Modern Round Faux Burl Wood Chrome Dining comes with scarce matching same condition leaf adding number of seating from 4 to 6. Beautiful well preserved piece with chrome legs, legs could use a proper cleaning and polish, in found condition no cleaning has been attempted. Has a small portion of a clear rim at leg height missing nothing major. 29 tall and 26.5 leg height 41 as shown but leaf extends that to two extra seats. Very hard to find set up in this design, nice impressive piece great for small spaces but also great for adding the occasional party guest. In 1928, it was the first such tubular-steel frame caned seat type of chair that was mass-produced. It was among the 10 most common such chairs. One of the original ones from that time sits in the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan. Associate Curator at the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art, Cara McCarty, referred to the chair as being among the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century. Made in Italy 1970’s. Price is for both chairs. Note: chairs are from different sets. Overall Height: 30.5. Use the pictures as part of the description. The are a couple small break that are hardly noticeable on each of the seats. Cane on back rests are in excellent condition. The chair with no arm rest does have some minor chipping that is occurring on the front part of the seat. Minor wear on the bottom part of the front seat. Chrome is in good condition, with some spots. All vintage items are just that; used and loved through the years. Coolest and rarest MCM CHAIRS E V E R! These c hairs may have been special order prototype built by Juhl, or Wegner (attributed). You can see echoes of Juhl’s “V” brace, and. Grasshopper slant with petal seat in chair. Regardless, these chairs are certainly very special, rare, and in primo condition. Not only do they look spectacular, but they are also stackable, which is another amazing. See pics for complete details. Excellent condition with no cracked wood or repairs. Seat has been newly reupholstered, but original color was white, and still under new upholstery. Seat seems extra wide with triangular, petal shape. You’ll never see another one so don’t miss out. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. It earned the title, best designed chair of the 20th century by Time Magazine. SET OF 6 amazing chairs ready for a new home. This is the White Ash version with chrome base. Very good vintage condition and structurally sound. Rubber shockmounts are pliable and perform like new. All feet are present and functional. The chrome is in very good condition. Minor marks and impressions are found here and there on the wood as would be expected with furniture of this age. Since some of the photo were taken outdoors the light left a glare on the front edges. THEY DO NOT HAVE LIGHTER AREAS ON THE CHAIR FRONTS. Each chair is marked with a silver Herman Miller nameplate on the underside of its seat. The original label is present on each chair and shows Mfg. Date 12/23/2005 19.75″ wide, 20.75″ deep, 30 high. Here is a single arm chair in teak and cord designed in the 1960s, by Poul Volther. This exquisite chair features a solid wood frame and backrest with armrest in excellent sturdy condition with no cracks or loose joints. All the cords are in excellent shape free of loose or broken treads. Excellent vintage condition with minimal scratches and dings more towards the legs then anywhere else. It is environmentally friendly! Vintage is usually better quality! I’m sure you have heard the saying, “They dont makem like they used to”. And it’s true!
