This is a beautiful and rare pair of handcrafted Chinoiserie figures, perfect for collectors and lovers of modern decor. The male measures 18 inches tall and 6.25 inches at the widest part of the base. The female measures 17.25 inches tall and 6 inches at the widest part of the base. Please see all the photos. The male has a pin hole on the gold area in front of his gown and a couple of small paint chips at the bottom front area and one on the underside. The female has a black dot pen? On the cream color area of her gown. Both have all over crazing. Both have markings on the bottom that are hard to see. I believe the male is marked Alton???? But I can’t say for certain.

Vintage 1950s MCM Hand Blown Art Glass Open Mouth Fish Purple Amethyst. 1930s EMPOLI ART GLASS WIDE MOUTH 13 FISH PURPLE AMETHYST CRAFTED IN ITALY RARE. Vintage 1930s era Empoli Italy Art Glass Large Handcrafted Purple Amethyst Glass Wide Open Mouth Fish Mid Century Modern. Gorgeous unique purple amethyst color glass. There are many bubbles, possibly controlled throughout the glass and this makes it just that much more beautiful to look at. This Fish has beautiful pose and gorgeous fins. Hand blown, open mouth style, in overall EXCELLENT vintage condition for its age. These pieces of art glass took a very special skill to create and you really do not see many of them at all anymore. This hand blown purple glass fish is large and is sure to stand out and make a statement wherever it is displayed. Approximate Measurements: 12.5″ long head to tail – 4 3/4″ tall – 6 wide side to side and it weighs 1.3 lbs. The ground lip treatment is where the rough glass was ground from the blowpipe.
