Rare, 1, 2, or 3, Vintage 70’s 1 Pair matching large stoneware lamps, each of spherical form with a warm terracotta colored body and dark, matte finish, incised with a repeated abstract pattern that evokes Antique pottery and the classical style of Terence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings. Each is signed’Brown’ near the cord hole. Overall condition is good, with minor surface wear and looks like an animal (cat most likely) chewing on the cord near the base, no wire showing, still works fine. Original wiring, no shades. Two measure: 14″ body height, 12″ diameter and 25 to top of finial. One is 15″x12″x26 just slightly bigger. There’s some sunfade or light color on one, last couple pictures. No cracks or chips.
