FLOS ARA lamp designed by Philippe Starck. This lamp is a genuine FLOS product, Made In Italy. This beautiful lamp is in used condition. The on/off switch does not work but it is easily remedied using an in-line switch or dimmer. The photos show the condition of the lamp. It’s a modern icon of contemporary design. Can use a a 35W LED bulb by replacing the 35W halogen bulb. Production Period 1980 to 1989. Construction Material: Aluminum, Glass, Steel, Zamak, Weight 4.63 lbs. 22 1/8 x 9 1/4 x 6 3/4. Ara, a fiendishly clever table lamp by Philippe Starck features a slightly tilted stem that supports an articulated horn a signature motif of its prolific designer. CHEAP PRICE FOR SUCH A SUPER RARE GEORGE NELSON STEEL FRAME DINING TABLE, 1956. LOOKS JUST LIKE THE COFFEE TABLE BUT A LARGE DINING TABLE. NOTHING DONE TO THIS TABLE. ORIGINAL PAINT AND EVERYTHING ELSE. IT’S NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION. THERE ARE TWO AREAS ON THE SIDE THAT THE LAMINATE IS MISSING. THE TWO PIECES OF LAMINATE ON THE SIDE THAT ARE MISSING, WHEN THE TABLE IS EXTENDED FULLY, IS HIDDEN BY THE WHITE METAL FRAME. SO, YOU CAN JUST KEEP IT ALWAYS EXTENDED AND IT WON’T BE SEEN IF THAT BOTHERS YOU. THERE ARE A COUPLE AREAS RIGHT AT THE SEAM OF THE LEAVES THAT TWO SMALL THIN SECTIONS ARE GONE (AS SHOWN). BOTH SIDES OF THE LEAVES / TOP ARE LAMINATED WITH THE SAME WALNUT LAMINATE. THIS TABLE WAS ONLY OFFERED IN VARIOUS LAMINATES, WOOD TONE BEING THE “IN THING” AT THE MOMENT. This listing is for a Vintage Mid Century Modern La Cava Italian Art Pottery Figural Portrait Face Wall Sculpture / Hat or Coat Hook. It is Signed “LA CAVA ITALY” on back (photo 5). It is Matte Black in color with a Carved Design of a Female Face on front. The Face is Half White, Half Black, and has Blonde / Yellow Hair. The Wall Plate has Glossy Red, Yellow, and White Stripes. It is in excellent condition overall with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Not sure if hanging wire is original, but thats how i got it. Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description. It will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 6 9/16″ tall x 5 9/16″ wide across wall plate, 5 1/8″ front to back, and 3 11/16″ x 3 3/16 across face.
