Early Vintage Raymond Lowey Stiffel Lamp. Dimensions – 42″ tall x 10.5″ cone shades x 4.5 diameter shade. T wo l arge cone shade s with original diffusers. Each shade swivels and tilts. It has a 4 way switch located on the base. The lamp is in good original condition. There are no dings or damage. Light wear to the base and shade. There is one diffuser that has a chip on the edge. Rare Stiffel Vtg Mid Century Modern Tension Pole Lamp Retro High Heel Fn Atomic. This is for a rare Stiffel Tension lamp complete and functional. This is one of their best designs in my opinion very cool details switch is functional plug works and all lights turn on it is a three way switch. The lamp does have where which is normal for how old this is. The brass center is tarnished could be cleaned but still displays very well. The cones overall look really great with the gold details the only thing that is missing is the diffusers witched with time you could find replacements I just face the lights upward and it still looks really great. The bottom has a That goes on the floor so as you can see from the 11th photo it might look a little weird but once you display this lamp that part is hidden. This lamp is pretty tall it measures, about 110 I have lived in a number of apartments especially older ones in Chicago where the ceilings are tall and this thing always worked. Stiffel atomic mid-century pole lamp from the 1950s. The lamp even comes with extension for very high ceilings. Dimensions: 193″ (with extension) / 94″ (without extension). This was a high-end example of a Stiffel pole lamp. It features 4 adjustable mixed-metal perforated cones, and it is made of brass, aluminum and silver. The cones measure 13.5″ long including the handles, and 3.25″ wide, one cone has mild denting. There are five push-button switches, one for each shade and one master control switch. All switches function perfectly. It has a gold Stiffel metal tag on the pole. The lamp comes with an extension piece which enables you to adjust the height of the lamp to a higher or lower ceiling. Fully extended the lamp measures 103.25″ tall with the extender in place, and 94.25″ tall without it. Tested and all four lights and switches work. The lamp good use a good polish but is structurally sound and very well made. Please refer to photos for details. Looks to be missing one small accent disc on the lower right side lamp, this does not effect the functionality of the lamp. The design of this lamp is often attributed to Raymond Loewy, although Theophile A. Stiffel designed and acquired a patent for a similar looking pole lamp in 1956.
