One of the rarest colors and collectible lamps. Rare to find, vintage Poul Henningsen. Pendant light with bakelite socket housing. Wire leg frame fitted with 2/1 amber colored glass set, Marked PH lamps as well as patented. Produced by Louis Poulsen in the 1930s. No chips on the shades. The fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of matt frosted glass, giving a soft and uniform light distribution. OF THE PERIOD Early-Century Modern. PLACE OF ORIGIN Denmark. PRODUCED BY Louis Poulsen. RARE Original PH 4/3 pendant lamp in Brushed Aluminium – designed by Poul Henningsen in 1966 and produced by Louis Poulsen. Condition: – In full working condition with very few signs of age and use. Material: – Made of Aluminium, With a screw-fitting (E27) porcelain Socket. And 150 cm new black fabric cable. Producer: – Louis Poulsen. Colour: – Brushed Aluminium on the top and white inside the lamp. Dimension: – Height 20 cm in. 7,9 ; Diameter 40 cm in. He Original Louis Poulsen stickers are still present on the Lamp. Please look at the pictures for more details. Though out his life it became a mission for Poul Henningsen to create and perfect “the glare-free light” – excluding sharp direct light emittance from the bulb, and directing the light to where it’s needed, and at the same time casting off soft shadows. Outside chremewhite, inside white lacquered aluminium shade, cast metal base. H 19.69 in. X W 10.63 in. X D 15.75 in. Wear consistent with use and age.
