These are probably the most rare in our bookend collection. 2 Marshall Studios cube bookends. Each cube has 4 wood exterior sides and 2 sides covered with tile. Cubes are filled with sand. If you shake them you can feel it. Condition is FAIR, these need to be refinished. There is one cracked tile and a few cracks in the grout. See photos for details. Original Russel Wright Modernist Libbiloo Circus Horse Bookends. These Early Bookends Are Considered Extremely Rare And Important Wright Pieces. Heavy Nickel Plated Cast Metal. Worn Cast Mark To Underside RW. Lightly Used, With Expected Surface Scratches, Minor Cosmetic Wear, But No Structural Issues. There Is No Noted Loss Of Plating, But Please Be Aware That It Is Possible That Once Polished A Bit Might Be Exposed. I Have Closely Examined These Pieces And Did Not See Any Issues Concerning This. Which Appears To Be Much Better Than The Few Other Examples That Have Appeared Over The Years. This Set Of Bookends Are On Display In Major Museums.
