Erik Hoglund Large Amber Glasmadamer People Decanter with 6 Matching Glasses for Kosta Boda Signed H288 Sweden. This listing is for an original Scandinavian art glass bottle / decanter and 6 hard to find matching glasses by Erik Hogland for the Boda Glassworks of Sweden, circa 1950s – 1960’s. This is Hoglunds female decanter, the “Glasmadamer, ” with a lady face stopper and female form with applied arms. The glass is mold blown and has lots of great seed bubbles. This decanter measures 11 and 1/4 inches tall to the top of the stopper. The base has a ground pontil, and is signed / numbered by Hoglund – H288, as shown. The H stands for Hoglund with the’288′ denoting the model number. This is the largest size of Hoglund’s People bottles. Each glass measures 3 and 1/4 inches tall and has an applied face medallion that matches the decanter. Condition : No cracks, chips or flakes. No water marks or staining. Bitossi Italy Onorevoli People Sculpture by Aldo Londi. Check out this uber rare Onorevoli sculpture by Aldo Londi for Bitossi. This Italian masterpiece is about 18″ H overall and the wood base measures about 5.125″ W x 5.875″ L x 1.5″ H. The taller figure measures 14.25″ L and the shorter figure is 8.125″ L. It is in great vintage condition, but there may have been a repair to the larger figure (see photos). The wood block has burn marks where the holes were drilled and one corner is dinged. It is missing the original paper label. This item comes from our pet-free and smoke-free home. Your satisfaction is my goal. For your consideration, a very rare Bitossi pottery Onorevoli people sculpture, circa 1958-60. This is an early design from Aldo Londis Onorevoli series, the later more prevalent people sculptures are much larger in scale and less detailed. The work is in overall good condition. The larger figure has firing cracks at the neck, abrasions to the body, surface scratching to the clay at one side that resembles a crack BUT IS NOT, and a fleabite chip towards the foot at the incised line. The wood base has staining. The figures will be boxed separately and the entire sculpture double boxed. Measurements including base: 15.75 inches in height, 5.5 inches in width, and 5 inches in profile depth.
