Super ultra rare Pyrex reverse misprint Amish Butterprint butter dish– the lady is on the left and the farmer is on the right, whereas the standard print shows the lady on the right and farmer on the left. Excellent condition with light signs of use & wear. No cracks; one very small, smooth flake-chip on the underside rim of the lid, shown in the 3rd picture– it’s hard to see but can be felt. The pattern is shiny and nicely intact with very light wear– note a small mark on the far left wheat. Pic #10 shows a backlit view of the pattern, aka “light test”. There are some of the era-typical production goofs that are common of vintage Pyrex, such as mold flaws, bumps, or indents; straw marks or swirls in the glass; inconsistencies in color & pattern; etc. These are normal and should be expected. VERY RARE VINTAGE PYREX PROMOTIONAL BLOWING LEAVES 024 TWO QUART CASSEROLE DISH. A gorgeous turquoise and white 024 two quart handled Pyrex bowl in the rare Blowing Leaves pattern with lid. This hard to find piece will be the star of your Pyrex collection. Perfect for the winter/holiday season. This was a limited edition promotional item which is why its so hard to find. The pattern shows various leaves being blown around the casserole dish along with snowflakes. In good, shiny vintage condition with no dishwasher damage, chips, or cracks on the bowl or lid. There are some flea bites, utensil marks, and marks around the handles. Pyrex is a brand introduced by Corning Inc. In 1915 for a line of clear, low-thermal-expansion borosilicate glass used for laboratory glassware and kitchenware. It was later expanded to include clear and opal ware products made of soda-lime glass. Measures approximately 10 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall.
