Mid-Century Modern Solid Nesting Teak Wood Canister set. The lid and cannister part are all solid wood, one piece for each! The handle has not been added, but rather is an integral part of the entire turned lid. A stunning set to display in your decor! My hubby is is a wood worker and turner, and he felt compelled to revisit his board feet calculation skills… Incredibly, this his six piece set would have required a minimum of 9.5 board feet! What is a board foot you may ask… A unit of lumber measure that is a 1 foot by 1 foot square that is 1 thick. Large and heavy teak wood set measures approximately large 10 1/2 inches high to the top handle by 9 3/8 inch base diameter, medium 8 1/2 inches tall to the top handle by 7 5/8 inch diameter and the small canister is 6 3/4 inch tall to the top handle and 5 5/8 inch base diameter. The set, nested and put on our postal scale weighs in at 10.12 pounds! (4.6 Kg) These have no glue joints, not staved or laminated in any way, and the largest lid would have started out as a massive slab over 4 thick! The lids for the two largest of the set have small reliefs turned into the interior to accommodate the integral teak knobs of the other lids when in nested mode. The overall vintage condition is very good with some minor little marks to the exterior sides of the canisters, commensurate with age. I have for sale a set of three modern nesting tables. They have triangular shape top. The bar/pipe legs have plastic caps on top and feet. They can be stacked. I believe they were designed in Italy in the 1980’s. Approximate dimensions of the largest table is: 23.5″ wide, 16″ deep, and 18.5 tall. They are well made, high quality furniture. That are in good used condition overall.

Rare Vtg Mid Century Modern Walnut Nesting Tables Set of 3 Denmark Poul Jeppesen
Rare Hard to find Solid Walnut Nesting Table Set (3 tables) made by Poul Jeppesen Imported from Denmark. Smallest table is labeled underneath with a sticker that says’P. Jeppesen Mobelfabrik Store Heddinge. Also has a branded PJ in a circle, Made in Denmark branding, and a black label with Danish Furniture Makers Control circle. Poul Jeppesen was a furniture maker of quality pieces in Denmark between the 1940’s and 1960’s. He produced the designs of Grete Jalk and Ole Wanscher, in addition to many lesser known designers. These tables are a Grete Jalk design that were made in several different options. Teak with formica tops. There tables are solid walnut, of beautiful craftmanship. Dating from the 1960’s, they are in wonderful condition with some marks from use over the past 55 years, patina as called in the furniture industry. The tables have tracks in the sides for the smaller ones to slide in place. The smallest table is slightly lighter in color, but is solid walnut and an original delivered that way! We have the original receipt and furniture catalog for these when they were ordered from Denmark. Copies will be included with the tables. Lg 22.25″ L x 14.5″ W x 19.5 H. Pyrex Agee Rare “Daisy Chain” Complete Nesting Bowl Set of 4. Three of the four bowls in this set are in good vintage condition. One of them, the red bowl, is what I consider fair vintage condition. None of the bowls have chips, cracks or DWD. The largest bowl (orange) has minimal signs of wear. The turquoise bowl has minimal signs of wear. The red bowl has noticeably heavy scratching to the pattern. The brown bowl has a noticeable scratch to two of the petals and some nibbles. All of the bowls have tide marks from manufacturing that are noticeable and typical of Agee pyrex. The clear coat is intact all all four bowls and they are still lovely on display as you can see from the photos. I describe items as thoroughly as possible but I also provide well lit, detailed photos for your review as I do miss things.
