Measurements: 6.6″ high 2.3″ x 2.9 Base. Displayed inside a glass cabinet, other than that, seldom handled, basically in exceptional vintage condition, no cracks or hairlines and free of blemishes on the external surfaces of the vase itself, the inside is a bit dusty, other than that, basically flawless. Coolie lampshade is made of woven cream coloured fabric with a plastic inner shade. Steel stem painted in matt black paint. The stem has a pivot joint and a lever to adjust the angle of the shade. There is one plastic bulb socket. There is a square base made of pine wood with a pine stem. The stem can be moved up and down the pine stem. Original inline switch is placed on the cord. The lamp is in very good condition and in full working order. It has been rewired and earthed, it takes one e27 bulb. Some small cracks on the plastic inner shade (please see picture). This item can be used with 110-240v supplies. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. Height: 65-70cm/26.6-27.5. Rare 1960s Desk /Table Lamp manufactured by Kaiser Leuchten, Germany. Domed lampshade is made of sheet metal lacquered with a textured green paint. It has been lacquered white on the inside for light reflection. There is one bulb socket made of plastic. Thick tubed stem made of brass with a flex made of black plastic at the top and attaching to the shade. The heavy base is made of thick sheet steel and is lacquered textured green paint. A rocker switch is situated on the brass stem. The lamp is in very good / good condition and in full working order. Blemishes to the brass stem. The lamp takes one E27 bulb. This lamp can be used with 110-230v supplies. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Designed in the 30s or 40´s in Germany (Kaiser). Lamp shade can be rotated along a vertical axis, 4 screwholes in the stand for wall- or ceiling fixation. Today, German Bauhaus design is best known for its simplicity of form, clean lines, inexpensive materials and, above all, its functionalism. This lamp is a fine example of the Bauhaus aesthetic at its peak of production. Totally devoid of ornamentation, its mechanized appearance has become the hallmark of mass-produced industrial design to this day.
