Very Rare, Vintage C. 1950’s Mid-Century Modern, Dorothy Thorpe Lucite Square Base, Candle Holders – Pair. These came from a mid-century modern home estate in Palm Springs Ca. In the old prestige neighborhood of Las Palmas where old and new Hollywood actors reside. You can find the common pretzel-shaped Dorothy Thorpe candle holders, but the square base. Holders are very very rare. They are in very good condition with normal wear and patina on the metal. These were made in the Hollywood regency & Mid-century modern era, and are a compliment to any interior and work in any color palette due to their transparency and understated elegance. 4″W × 4″D × 6.25H.
