There is some splatter marks on the right dog – but I’m sure you could use some stain to correct them. All the metal is in tact and the hanger are correct.

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare set of vintage wall hanging plaques. Theme: Tribal Drummers / Percussion. We believe these are constructed from plaster – they appear to be solid and have a nice weight to them. They aren’t as lightweight as chalkware pieces. The plaques are designed to be dimensional in appearance – the figures, as well as the square accents on each plaque, are slightly raised. They appear to be unmarked / unsigned. In all of our years collecting, we’ve never come across this set until now. They’ll make a fantastic addition to any mid century modern home! Each plaque measures approx. 11.75″ wide x 9.75″ tall. Condition: The front sides of both plaques are in great condition – no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The back side of one plaque has a shallow chip, but it does not translate to the front whatsoever. The back side of the other plaque has a surface crack the stretches from top to bottom, but again – this does not translate to the front side whatsoever. Neither appears to be affecting the structural integrity of either plaque, and they obviously won’t be seen since they are on the back side. They display really well, and are ready to be enjoyed in a new home. Please ask them and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.

For your consideration is this great pair of 2 vintage MCM Mid-Century Modern wood cat wall hanging. These are very unusual and super cool. They are wood but have a heavy gold leafing and sequins adorning them. They are each app. The gold covering is lightly wearing on them, exposing some of the red painted wood underneath. There is some writing on the back, but we are not sure if it is an artist signature or not. Thanks for your interest!

Pair of Hard to Find Masketeers Wood & Metal Dog Wall art. Both in great used condition. Shows minor wear consistent with age. Both are marked clearly with “Masketeers Inc 1961″. Each measures approximately 30″ tall x 11″ wide. The right dog is missing the back ear and missing hanging hardware. The left dog has had it’s hanging hardware glued on.

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare set of sculptural abstract wood comedy and tragedy / theater wall hanging plaques. Circa’50s /’60s. While unsigned, they do remind us a little of Heifetz. Each has a hanging tab recessed into the back surface. They’ll make a great addition to any mid century modern setting! The comedy mask measures approx. 16″ tall x 7.5″ wide x 1.25 deep. The tragedy mask measures approx. 16″ tall x 8″ wide x 1.25 deep. Condition: Both plaques are in very good condition. There are some minor surface blemishes / imperfections in the wood, but nothing that we’d consider bad at all – please see all of the accompanying photos. We have not attempted to clean or polish either of the plaques as we felt they display great just as they are. They’re ready to be enjoyed in a new home!
