This unique figurine is a rare find for any collector of mid-century modern art. The David Gill Bennington Pottery Man Bowler Hat Sculpture features a stylish stoneware construction with a pottery production technique. The brand is well-known for its quality pottery, and this figurine is no exception. It would make a great addition to any collection of decorative pottery and glassware. It does, however, have a few chips, one on each side of its nose. And a chip to the back of his hat. I have pictured all of these. I bought it this way. It’s not every day you find one. And I have owned it for years. You really don’t notice the chips. The base does unscrew.
