Please check out my other items for sale! Vintage 1960’s Jens Risom aluminum group armless sofa. This rarely seen aluminum framed sofa is absolutely stunning. Reupholstered a few years ago in exquisite Grey Knoll Velvet (Mohair). Minimal flourishes include an aluminum back bar, and a nine button seat back. Note seat imperfections hence the low price. This sofa is the most comfortable armless sofa you’ll ever sit on. It measures 6’6″L x 32″ T x 31″D, with a seat of 15 1/2″ at it’s highest point. The foam and suspension are excellent. The frame is very nice and would polish up even nicer (we like the patina). The velvet fabric is the most forgiving upholstery we’ve ever seen. It hides almost all of the minor scuffs and scrapes from use. Teflon glides pictured were just temporary. There is one, very small (like less than 1/8 round) hole that does not go all the way through the fabric, located on the front of the seat of the sofa, left side (facing the sofa). Only noticeable if you are looking for it. It cannot be seen in any of the photos. Overall, excellent vintage condition. Whats cool is you can add any post card you like slide out the back and slide in anyone you like. As you can see in the photos. Only issue and I repaired it was a small crack on the bottom really hard to see when displayed everything else looks great normal wear. They measure 10 from top to tip and the longer side measures 12 tip to tip. These are plastic and have such a cool look. Inside is 5 wide and 4 long where the post card goes. Rare early Blond Maple Drawer Florence Knoll sofa with older channeled iron frame. This is the only blond version I have seen. They are always in walnut and sometimes teak. The Maple option was only offered in the very beginning of the release of this design, and only for a very short time. The blond wood really sets off the black frame. Cushions are soft but needs redoing in your own fabric. The box is original, and I left it that way, but would look better if completely refinished. The total length is 120 inches. Deep 22 inch seat. Back height 30 inches. The piece looks fabulous in the middle of the room, front or back. The black frame has been resprayed in a beautiful semi-gloss. In the pictures, the frame was not yet sprayed. It’s beautiful now! The prices on 1stdibs for the common Walnut drawer version is between 7,000 and 9,400. This price is giveaway, especially the fact that this is a super rare Maple drawer box. I will deliver for free in the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area, and even San Diego. I was going to keep this one but my place is just too small for the piece. You will NEVER see a Maple version of this model again. It’s by far the most attractive of the line because of the very rare drawer and the black frame combo! You can’t go wrong.
