Excellent Condition beautifully preserved Original Dunbar Finish. 18.5 inches depth. The back side of this cabinet if finished exactly as the top and sides which permits the cabinet to be placed mid room. We’ve looked for other examples of these cabinets for four years without finding another offered for sale. A very good quality rare English solid sterling silver candle holder box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1961 with the makers marks being partially rubbed. It has been superbly made having an engine turned exterior and flame finial. The inner silver tube has been internally gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 4 inches (10cms) tall by 1.25 inches across and weighs 62 grams (excluding the candle). A super quality rare piece.
