This Piece is in unusable Excellent Condition With no damage the clarity is pristine. Sits level and flat. The pontel on the stopper is rough, but this is normal from where they break it off the stick. Greenwhich Flint Craft (GFC) was a line of glass, produced under it’s own name but was under the umbrella of a larger glassworks called Indiana Glass. GFC was a type of modern design/ art glass line, because Indiana Glass was known for more work aday practical glass and they wanted to expand into the art glass/decor market. Then they hired a man named Tom Connally as their new head designer. Connally answered a job advertisement in the Muncie Press for an assistant glass designer position at IG in 1961. When Arthur Harshman offered him the position, he accepted. He’d never designed a piece of glass but was confident that he could do so. His innate aesthetic sensitivity, boldless creativity, and appreciation of elegant design were his best tools for the job. Vintage Greenwich Flint-Craft is the visual testimony. This Korean War era veteran from Fort Wayne, IN, artist, teacher, set designer, exibits and display creator, was now becomming a glass designer. Tom loved good contemporary art whether in glass, furniture, painting (his favorite style was abstract expressionism), architecture, clothing, etc. He was very proud of GFC and its strong commitment to aesthetics. He was an admirer of Scandinavian Design. His GFC line was only in production for 3 years, beginning in 1969 and ending in 1972.

Oh my what a beautiful rare piece! It is truly amazing. The stopper stem is crude, not super sharp.. See all pictures and ask ask ask as pictures are 99% of the description. There is a water spot inside lid.

This Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates Jacks Coffee Table catalogue number 891-TGR is an exceedingly rare piece. Usually only the Jacks end tables can be found. The base is solid walnut. These softened edges make a nice contrast to the angled walnut base and makes it also user friendly for children or clumsy adults.

This Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates R2077-TGT is another one of his iconic pieces. This was presumably for a plant! I believe the cut out examples are rarer. The cut out, of course, could be used for other things other than plants, however, like a lamp, etc.

This Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates Recliner is authentic and in original, great vintage condition. This is the only example of this chair I have ever seen in many years of seeking out Adrian Pearsall designs. It is a very heavy chair because of the steel mechanism used to recline the chair. Currently, there is a sofa listed with the same walnut square legs. Other pieces with these kind of legs include coffee tables, ottomans and non-reclining chairs. I know this is a Craft Associates, Adrian Pearsall design because several of the non-reclining chairs do have Craft Associates tags on them. The only condition issue is some frayed fabric on the lower base (see last photo). Otherwise, everything else looks very good. The dimensions are as follows. Width (Depth): 35″; fully extended 60″. Local pick-up is welcomed.
