EXTREMELY RARE Vintage Burlwood Pedestals Mid Century Modern Thayer Coggin Milo Baughman Style Stands / End Tables in Great Condition! Measuring 11 1/2″ square, 31″ tall and 1 1/4 thick, they are made of big solid wood slabs put together like a puzzle, and not veneer covered particle board. These nightstands will last as long as wood will, as they are literally just 1 1/4 thick pieces of wood. These tables are as strong and sturdy as can be which and quite honestly can be hard to find in some of the mid century furniture in this style. A lot of the furniture you see from this era and style is flimsy and veneer covered but this is nothing like that. To get a pair of these that is this quality and this nice you would probably have to have them custom-made for you, these are an extremely rare fine and they will not last long at this great price. The great thing about this pair is they can be used in many ways as either nightstands, end tables or as a pair of pedestals. As you can see I have pointed out a couple of spots with a measuring tape that shows a couple of minor scratches and one crack in the wood which has no effect on the structural integrity of the stand. These stands are as sturdy as they look and then some.

Fantastic early and rare lounge chairs from an old cape cod estate. One retains a good amount of the original Thayer Coggin label, the other has just a trace. The frames are in nice solid condition with incredible sculptural arms. On arm has a small cluster of pockmarks as shown. That same chair has had the corners of the seat support rounded off. Cushions should cover this up for the most part. The other chair still has the square corners, but some bite marks. Beautiful chairs reminiscent of a Finn Juhl design.
