Please note, there are some minor chips which have been professionally touched up. Given how rare and old this is, it is quite common to see these vases with a bit of wear. Embrace the essence of mid-century modern design with this rare vintage Carstens Tonnieshof vase. Crafted in the 1970s, the vase stands at a substantial 16 inches and showcases a bold, all-over pattern that exemplifies the era’s artistic expression. Its textured matte finish and abstract theme make it a standout piece, while the impressed backstamp confirms its authenticity as a product of Carstens, a revered name in European art pottery. The vase’s robust clay and ceramic construction is a testament to the craftsmanship of the period, and its brown color scheme reflects the earthy tones favoured in the 1960s. Despite being unbranded, this piece carries the distinct mid 20th-century aesthetic, making it a prized find for collectors and enthusiasts of MCM design.
