Danish Modern Teak Low Dresser by Svend Madsen for Falster – Rare Mid-Century Modern Piece. This stunning Danish Modern low dresser/sideboard was designed by Svend Madsen for Falster in the 1960s. It features a beautifully figured teak exterior with sculpted, integrated drawer pulls and clean minimal lines-a hallmark of Madsen’s designs. Rare to find in this configuration, the piece combines functionality and style with ample storage. Designer: Svend Madsen. Era: Mid-Century Modern (1960s). Configuration: Six drawers on each side with a central cabinet door opening to reveal four additional interior drawers with dovetail construction. Dimensions: 75″ W x 19″ D x 32 H. This piece is in very good vintage condition. The teak retains its rich, warm color and striking grain pattern. All drawers slide smoothly, and the cabinet door opens and closes properly. There are minor age-appropriate signs of wear consistent with its vintage-such as light surface scratches and small marks-but nothing that detracts from its beauty or usability (see photos for details). BEAUTIFUL RETRO & RARE! MID CENTURY DANISH MODERN. TEAK WOOD FLOOR LAMP. Looks to be a circa 1960’s-1970’s vintage work of art! The pictures show lamp lights up in full and partial, switch works great, it has three levels, first level – lights up full six, second turn of the switch lights up every second from the top one, third turn lights up every second from the bottom one and the fourth turn shut of the lamp. PLEASE ASK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS! Wooden Leaves Are Bent walnut or teak. The leafy plant in the center is plastic, like all good house plants in the 60’s were! The plant IS REMOVABLE! It just sticks in a holder on the base and comes right off if you don’t want to use it. Measures 72 tall with the shades in place.. ALL six retro mosaic shades are present and in great shape!
