NICE ORIGINAL CHARLES EAMES/HERMAN MILLER “LCM” LOUNGE CHAIR —1950’S. EARLY AND RARE SPECIAL FRONT SURROUND MOUNTS THAT STRENGTHEN THE SHOCK MOUNTS– ORIGINAL “DOMES OF SILENCE” FEET– ZEELAND, MI LABEL. THE CHAIRS HAVE AN OLDER CLEAN REFINISH AND AS YOU CAN SEE ON INSPECTION OF PHOTOS IT LOOKS LIKE THIS CHAIR ORIGINALLY HAD A RED ANILINE FINISH. HINTS OF RED COLOR IN VARIOUS PLACES– THE SHOCK MOUNTS ON SEAT BACK LOOK TO HAVE BEEN. ONE SMALL TOP CHIP IN THE REAR OF SEAT AND A FEW TIGHT STABLE CRACKS ON THE BACK SEAT TOP EDGE–(SEE PHOTOS). This is a wonderful, matched pair of occasional chairs by Ib Kofod Larsen for Selig. This model is much rarer than many of the other chairs that Ib Kofod Larsen designed for Selig and are nearly impossible to find in a matched pair. 24.5″ wide x 24″ deep x 30 high. The fabric is original and is in wonderful shape. The straps have been professionally replaced. All joints have been inspected and tightened. These chairs are in great vintage condition and are ready to use. Please take a look at all of the photos to see the wonderful condition of these chairs.
