Rare mid-century kingsized bookcase headboard, made by Pulaski Furniture, but is often attributed to Witco as the Oceanic series. The sculptural series has a Polynesian Hawaiian tiki vibe and was featured in sets on the Mad Men series. The headboard is in excellent vintage condition, ready to be the focal point of any MCM bedroom. The headboard has two large storage areas on each side of the bed, behind the carvings. The center section of the headboard is removable and can be take out to use the headboard for a queen size bedframe and mattress if desired. The headboard has two built-in lights that can be switched on and off (see photo of light turned on). I also have the matching gentleman’s chest in a separate listing.
