Original, Authentic Selig of Monroe set of Mid-Century Modern Chairs. These are an extremely rare find. These chairs belonged to a late family member. I know they were kept in her basement and rarely sat in since around the late 1940’s or early 1950’s. They are very sound structurally but do have slight rips located on the corners of each arm (pictured). The legs are all intact and original. They have nicks and marks but no major damage. 31.5″ deep 29″ wide 33.5 height. 28″ deep 28″ wide 28 height. I have not had them professionally cleaned but that should also make the exotic pattern pop even more. I would definitely keep them but my significant other is forcing me to sell. This is a wonderful, matched pair of occasional chairs by Ib Kofod Larsen for Selig. This model is much rarer than many of the other chairs that Ib Kofod Larsen designed for Selig and are nearly impossible to find in a matched pair. 24.5″ wide x 24″ deep x 30 high. The fabric is original and is in wonderful shape. The straps have been professionally replaced. All joints have been inspected and tightened. These chairs are in great vintage condition and are ready to use. Please take a look at all of the photos to see the wonderful condition of these chairs. Offered for your consideration is a pair of stylish mid century modern lounge chairs. We do think they are by Selig – but there are no labels or markings. Featuring ebonized legs and a flared arm. CONDITION: Upholstery is faded on arms – there are a few seam separations – and frayed on front area of arms. The cushions are a little’crunchy’ but still quite comfortable as the seat is a sprung cushion. There are some scratches on the wood legs.
