Robsjohn Gibbings for Widdicomb Lounge Chair & Matching Ottoman; Mid Century Modern. Robsjohn Gibbings for Widdicomb Lounge Chair and Ottoman, rare matching pair with desirable and hard to find WWA-6 ottoman. Good candidates for restoration. Could be used as is but there are various scuffs, dings, paint splatters and general wear to the finish. The upholstery is in decent shape with no rips or tears, but there are loose threads, pilling and various spots or small stains. The foam cores are soft with no signs of dry rot. I have not cleaned or touched up the pieces in any way. Great set that would benefit from a proper and professional restoration. Please see photos and ask questions. The original upholstery is in great shape and free of any rips, tears or wear. Still has the original covers for the armrest. The seat cushion is slighty discolored and would benefit from a professional cleaning. This is not to say it’s stained or heavily soiled. Completely usable as is and still looks great! The beautifully sculpted walnut frame and tall legs are in great condition with nice color and grain throughout. There are some dings and small dents on the left underside of the frame but these are on the lower portion/underside of the wood and you can’t see them when the chair is sitting as it should be. They’re easier to feel if you run your hand along the underside of the chair. The upholstery has a nubby texture to it has various colors including cream, pink, peach, blue and teal.
