We are motivated sellers… ALL offers appreciated and welcomed. From a New York estate of a very prominent family comes. A 7 drawer Modern Parchment, Lacquered Goatskin, Vanity / Desk. In the manner of Jean-Michel Frank……. It appears to be lacquered goatskin parchment….. Vintage 1970’s -1980’s… Extremely well built and heavy… Very Fine Preowned condition… Only light age appropriate wear. One small 1/2 light brown stain (I made no attempt to remove), Curved top… Both large drawers have the sliding tray inside……… Dimensions are 31″ tall, 50″ wide, and 23 deep in center (again, remember it has a curve to it)… Hidden recesses to open 3 top drawers…. There is what looks like a remnant of a stamp (pictured last) in case anyone out there can make it out. This has been blanket wrapped and stored for many years…. All my pieces are Currently Located in Spring Glen, NY 12483. (Convenient to the tri-state area). Cash upon pick-up and your approval is preferred… Remember, we LOVE offers!! ALDO TURA RARE LARGE EGG SHAPED PARCHMENT GOATSKIN ICE BUCKET. Rare Sculptural Aldo Tura Ice Bucket Italy 1960’s This is a very unusual example of Aldo Tura’s work. While it’s first function is that of an ice bucket, it can stand on it’s own as decorative sculpture. Spectacular surrealist egg shaped bucket, constructed of Goatskin Parchment over a hardwood structure. Measurements Height: 15 in. Diameter: 10 1/2 Very Good condition, a couple Invisible spots, please see that the inner plastic bowl is missing, sticker ALDO TURA present Reminiscent of the egg shape bottle rack in Xavier Lalanne-designed bar for Yves Saint Laurent.
