Rare early Blond Maple Drawer Florence Knoll sofa with older channeled iron frame. This is the only blond version I have seen. They are always in walnut and sometimes teak. The Maple option was only offered in the very beginning of the release of this design, and only for a very short time. The blond wood really sets off the black frame. Cushions are soft but needs redoing in your own fabric. The box is original, and I left it that way, but would look better if completely refinished. The total length is 120 inches. Deep 22 inch seat. Back height 30 inches. The piece looks fabulous in the middle of the room, front or back. The black frame has been resprayed in a beautiful semi-gloss. In the pictures, the frame was not yet sprayed. It’s beautiful now! The prices on 1stdibs for the common Walnut drawer version is between 7,000 and 9,400. This price is giveaway, especially the fact that this is a super rare Maple drawer box. I will deliver for free in the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area, and even San Diego. I was going to keep this one but my place is just too small for the piece. You will NEVER see a Maple version of this model again. It’s by far the most attractive of the line because of the very rare drawer and the black frame combo! You can’t go wrong.
